Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about EPG, our MSB services, and onboarding.
Last updated: 2026-06-15
Is EPG a licensed money services business?
No — and no Canadian MSB is "licensed" by FINTRAC. Everpro Go Inc. is registered with FINTRAC as a Money Services Business (MSB). FINTRAC does not issue licenses or certificates to MSBs, and registration is not an endorsement. Registration means we have met the legal requirements to operate as an MSB in Canada and are subject to FINTRAC oversight.
What services does EPG offer?
EPG provides foreign exchange dealing, domestic and cross-border money transfer and remittance, virtual currency exchange and transfer, and payment instruments such as money orders. These map to the service categories covered by Canadian MSB registration.
What documents do I need for KYC/KYB verification?
Verification typically requires government-issued identification and proof of address. For businesses (KYB), we also collect registration documents, beneficial ownership information, and bank account verification. Exact requirements vary by service, transaction size, and our risk assessment of the relationship.
How long do international transfers take?
Settlement times depend on the destination country, currency, payout method, and required compliance checks. Many transfers settle same-day or within one to two business days, though some corridors take longer. We confirm expected timing when a transfer is initiated.
Are virtual currency services regulated in Canada?
Yes. Dealing in virtual currency — both exchange and transfer — is a regulated MSB activity in Canada. As a registered MSB, EPG applies AML/ATF controls including KYC to virtual currency transactions. Note that virtual currencies are highly volatile and are not legal tender or backed by any government.
How can I verify your FINTRAC registration?
You can search for Everpro Go Inc. in the official FINTRAC MSB Registry. See our Verify Registration page for the direct link and a plain-language explanation of the difference between "registered" and "licensed".
